Overview

The Fixture View lets you allocate a single game to a venue, playing surface (court/field), and time directly from a grade's regular-season or finals fixture — without needing to open the Season > Allocations area. It's the quickest option when you're already viewing a grade's fixture and just need to set or adjust one game.

You can also allocate a game this way when creating or adding a new game to a fixture. Finals fixture games are allocated using the same steps below — just navigate to the grade's finals fixture first.

Allocating a venue, court, and time from a grade's fixture

Venues can only be allocated once the fixture has been generated. The list of available venues and playing surfaces is managed by your sport's administrative body.

1. Open the grade's fixture Select Competition Management from the main menu, then the appropriate Competition and Season tile, then select the Grades tab. 2. Open Edit Game Details From the grade's fixture, select the ellipsis (...) icon for the game you'd like to edit, then select Edit Game Details. [Screenshot: Game row with the ellipsis icon and Edit Game Details option]
3. Select the venue and playing surface Select a Venue. Once a venue is selected, its linked playing surfaces become available in the Playing surface (Court/Field) field — select the one this game will be played on. [Screenshot: Edit Game Details modal showing Venue and Playing surface fields]
4. Set the date Enter the date of the match, or select one using the calendar icon. Manual game allocation can occur on any date, regardless of any exception date that's been configured.
5. Set the start time Setting the Start time automatically populates the end time, based on the game duration set in the grade's Game Day details. You can revise this at any time in Game Settings under Total court time (mins). Start times are set in 5-minute increments — you can't set a game to 5:43pm, but you can set 5:40pm or 5:45pm.
6. Save your changes Select Save. The game details will appear on the fixture page next to the game you allocated.

Frequently asked questions

Can I allocate a game before the fixture is generated? No. Venues, playing surfaces, and times can only be allocated once the grade's fixture has been generated.

Can I allocate finals games this way? Yes. Navigate to the grade's finals fixture and follow the same steps as the regular-season fixture.

Why can't I set a start time like 5:43pm? Start times are set in 5-minute increments, so the nearest available options are 5:40pm or 5:45pm.

How do I remove an allocation I've already made? Open Edit Game Details for the game and select Unallocate game.

Will changing the start time affect the end time? Yes — the end time is calculated automatically from the game duration set in the grade's Game Day details, based on whatever start time you enter.
