This article sets out the process from removing participants from an organisation's Mailchimp mailing list.
If a participant has a canceled or transferred registration and their contact details have already been synced with an organisation's Mailchimp account, their contact details will remain in Mailchimp. There are two options for removing a participant from a mailing list.
- The participant can remove themselves from the mailing list by using the unsubscribe link the next time they receive a communication from the organisation.

An administrator can remove a participant by following the steps below:
- Identify contacts that are no longer participating at your organisation, run the Participant Report and review the 'status' column. Those who have a status of ‘transferred’ or ‘cancelled’ are no longer active at your organisation.
