This article describes how a parent or participant can request a refund in Rugby Canada for a registration fee through their PlayHQ profile.

- What happens once a refund is requested
Important: Processing Refunds through PlayHQ is currently only available to participants in Canada. For sports in other regions, please continue to follow your existing processes.

Steps to Request a Refund
- Go to playhq.com and log in to your account.
- Navigate to Registration History from the top menu of your profile.
3. Locate the registration you'd like a refund for, then select the + button on the right-hand side of the registration.
4. Select Actions, then choose Request Refund.
5. Follow the prompts to complete your refund request.
What Happens Next?
You will receive a confirmation email of your requested refund. The outcome of your refund request will depend on when it is submitted and whether you have participated in any games.
Automatic Refund
If both of the following apply, your refund will be processed automatically and your registration will be cancelled:
- Your refund is requested within 15 days of your registration date
- You have not played any games
Refund Requires Approval
If either of the following apply, your refund request will need to be reviewed and approved by your club, province, and Rugby Canada before it is processed:
- Your refund is requested more than 15 days after your registration date
- You have played one or more games
Each organisation will determine whether a partial or full refund is applicable.
