Starting and ending a period using electronic scoring

The article describes how to start and end a period in the PlayHQ electronic scoring application.

Starting a period

To start a period, select the Start button in the top right corner of the form:

The current period will be updated, the game clock will start counting down, and a confirmation message will be displayed:

Congratulations! You've successfully started a period.

The current period automatically ends when the game clock runs down to 00:00.

To manually end a period, select the ellipses menu (...) in the top left corner, then select End Period:

Then select Confirm in the confirmation box:

The current period will end and a confirmation message will be displayed:

Congratulations! You've successfully ended a period.
