This articles describes how to edit bowlers, batters, value of runs/extras & team line ups in the PlayHQ e-scoring application
Change Bowler
To change the bowler for a whole over, select the options icon next to the over you wish to change
Select Change Bowler
Select the new Bowler & select Change Bowler
The new bowler will replace the previous bowler. All the bowler statistics for that over, will be transferred to the new bowler
Bowlers that have reached their bowling limit, if bowling limits are enabled for the grade, are not displayed in the list.
To change bowler for a specific ball, select the option icon next to the ball you wish to change and repeat the above steps
Change Batter
To change the batter for their entire innings, select the options icon next to any ball and select change batters
Select the Change button next to the batter you wish to change
Select the new Batter
Select Change Batters
The batter that was changed will be replaced by the new batter, and all their statistics will be transferred over
A batter can only be changed if they have not faced any balls. To change a batter who has faced balls, remove the invalid balls, then change the batter.
Switching the strike batter
Switching the strike batter changes the on-strike batter from the current strike batter to the non-strike batter, ensuring that the next ball is recorded against the correct batter.
To change the Strike batter, select the options icon next to any ball
Decide if you wish to change strike batter for this ball and all subsequent balls in this or over (& current strike batter), or just this ball only. Then select Switch Strike Batter
The strike batter will be switched from the strike batter to the non-strike batter.
The strike batter will automatically be switched after a ball is recorded or an over is completed based on the number of runs made on the previous ball, any ‘Crossed’ value captured against a wicket and the grade’s new batter settings.
Edit Event
To change the number of runs of a run event, or change the number of extras of a extra event, select the options icon next to the event you wish to edit and select Edit Event
Update the value of the event & decide if you wish Update Strike Batter for subsequent balls this over (¤t strike batter) and select Apply Edit. If toggled on, all the batter statistics will update automatically
Edit Line up
To edit a line up mid-match, select the team name you wish you edit.
Select Edit Line-up
You can add team players or fill in’s into the line-up as long as you have not reached the line-up limit.
You can also assign players as the wicket keeper for the match.
You may only remove players from the line-up, if there hasn't been any events recorded against them.
