In this release we have released the following enhancements to PlayHQ. These features are not yet enabled in Production but available for testing for Sports administrators in your nominated testing environment.
Home & Away Competitions - Regrading
Support for increasing the number of teams during regrading has been implemented for home and away competitions. All home and away competition regrading scenarios are now supported, allowing games to be allocated to the correct venue, playing surface, date and time when an administrator increases, decreases or maintains the same number of teams in a grade when regrading.
Transfer Declined Reason
Administrators must now select a reason when declining a transfer. The list of reasons has been configured on a per-sport basis.
Mailchimp Performance Improvements
Several enhancements have been implemented to improve the Mailchimp integration performance and reliability for organisations with large numbers of participants.
Configurable Roles - Local and Shared Programs
Previously, only player and volunteer registration roles were available and mandatory for Local and Shared programs.
The following enhancements have been made to the administrator portal to allow registration roles to be configured per tenant, program and season:
-
Each tenant will now be able to configure which registration roles are available on their tenant. These roles are configured for local and shared programs separately.
-
Each tenant will now be able to configure which registration roles (of those that are made available) appear defaulted as ‘turned on’ for all new registration forms for local and shared programs separately.
-
Owning organisations of local and shared programs will now be able to configure which registration roles are turned ‘on' or 'off’ per program season (of those that are made available by the tenant).
-
Managing organisations of shared programs will inherit registration roles based on the settings configured by the owning organisations of each program season.
-
Participating Organisations of Shared programs will inherit registration roles based on the settings configured by the owning organisations of each program season.
-
The participant list for local and shared seasons can now be filtered by all registration roles available on PlayHQ.
-
The group allocation modal can now be filtered by all registration roles available on PlayHQ.
-
Any existing shared and local program with registration forms that have already been configured will not have their available registration role options altered.
New Registration Role Type - Official
-
The new registration role type ‘Official’ has been added to shared and local programs.
-
Registrants will be able to register to shared and local programs as an official provided the season is configured to allow users to register as that role.
Merchandise Order Management
Admins now can manage products sold within their organisation. They will be able to view a list of all orders including individual product items and search using order number or the participant's name.
They will also be able to edit product information were applicable. This includes updating the orders delivery address or changing a products customisation selection i.e changing a small t-shirt size to a medium if the participant made an incorrect selection at the point of registration.
Additional support material about this feature can be found here.
Mandatory/Optional Custom Fields
Admins can now determine which custom fields require an answer from a participant and which fields are optional.
This will ensure the admin captures the most important questions while giving the participant the option of providing additional information should they choose to, ensuring a better registration experience.
