This article outlines how to reset the password of a PlayHQ account.
You can initiate the password reset process from the login page by first selecting the Forgot password? link.
Enter the email address you used to set up your PlayHQ account or login with, then select the Send recover link.
📝 Note: PlayHQ will not be able to send a recovery link if you enter a different email than the one you created your account with.
Check your email
Open the password reset email from PlayHQ and navigate to the Reset my password button. If the email does not appear in your inbox, check your junk or spam folders.
Set a new password
Type in a new password that conforms to the password requirements:
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character (excluding = or +)
- Be at least eight characters
and then click the Update password link. Your password will be immediately reset and you will be returned to the login page.
Log in with your new password
Use the email address of your PlayHQ account and the new password to log in to PlayHQ.
Your old password will no longer be able to be used.
