Editing Your PlayHQ profile

This article provides an overview of how to update the details of your PlayHQ account and any child or dependent who has a linked profile.

The Profile tab

Personal Details section

The Personal Details section in the Profile tab can be updated by selecting the Edit Details button within it. This will result in all of the fields in the section being editable, with the exception of the account holders email address, first name, last name and date of birth.

Changes to first name, last name or DOB must be submitted via a support request to the sport's support team for review before the task is raised with PlayHQ to edit the details.


You can switch between updating the account holders details or any dependents by selecting the participants name.


The account email address in the Profile tab can be updated by selecting the Change Email button within it. Click here for more details about how to change your email address.

Privacy Settings section

Privacy Settings allows you to set whether your name or your dependant's name(s) when viewing their details, appears on public game centres. The Private setting will hide your name and display the name as ''Player'' on game statistics. 

To change your setting, select the button on the right of your preference.

Once you've made changes to any of these details, you can select Save.

Emergency Contact section

The Emergency Contact section in the Profile tab can be updated by selecting the Edit button. This will result in all of the fields in the section being editable. 

Once you've made changes to any of these details, you can select Save.

Parent/Guardian section

The Account Holder in the Parent/Guardian section of the Profile tab, if shown (only displays when viewing the record of an account holder's dependent) is not editable. However, you can choose to add, edit or remove the details of a second Parent/Guardian by using the available buttons.

Once you've made changes to this field, you can select Save

 

Accreditations tab

Coaching Accreditation section

The Coaching Accreditation section, if available, can be updated by selecting the Edit button. This will result in the Accreditation level field being editable. 

Once you've made changes to this field, you can select Save
Note: The accreditations tab may not appear for all sports

 

WWC section

The WWC section in the Accreditations tab, if available, can be updated by selecting the Edit button. This will result in all of the fields in the section being editable.  Note: If you did not enter your WWC information when you first registered, you will be unable to edit this information from your profile.  

Once you've made changes to this field, you can select Save

 

Memberships tab

The Memberships section records the details of any memberships applying to the participant's account. The details shown specify the membership details, the purchase date (or migrated date), and the end date of the membership. This information cannot be edited as it is set according to the rules of the membership.

📝 Note: You are unable to edit the information that appears in the Registration History or Memberships tabs.
