Managing a competition's public visibility setting

Managing a competition's public visibility setting controls whether or not the public can view the competition on the organisation's public-facing PlayHQ page.

Setting a competition as 'Hidden' allows an administrator to configure a competition, including any underlying seasons and grades, without allowing a member of the public to navigate to view the competition or any seasons and grades that have been set as 'Visible'. IE: Setting a competition to 'Hidden' will hide the pathway to any of its seasons and grades.

If a competition is set as 'Visible' and seasons and grades are also set to 'Visible', then a member of the public will be able to view these on your organisation's public-facing PlayHQ page. Any seasons and grades that are set as 'Hidden'' will not be viewable on your organisation's public-facing PlayHQ page.

Please note: If participants have a registration link provided to them, they may still be able to register (depending on the registration period set by an administrator).

Set the visibility of a Competition

To configure the visibility setting of a competition, select Competition Management, and then the Settings tab, and set and update the appropriate 'Visibility' setting. You can return at any time to update the setting.
