This article describes how to add fill-in players, coaches, and assistant coaches to a game in the PlayHQ electronic scoring application.
A 'fill-in' is a participant that is not allocated to the team in the game that is about to be scored. 'Fill-in' participant details are recorded in the PlayHQ Admin Portal, can be reported on, and are to register according to the rules of the sporting body.
Adding a fill-in player
To add a fill-in player, select Edit in the team's Line-Up area:
Select Add Fill-in:
Complete the fill-in player's First Name, Last Name, Email, Date of birth, and optionally their Singlet Number:
Finally, obtain consent from the player/their guardian that they agree to the relevant term and conditions, then select Add Fill-In:
Congratulations! The fill-in player has been added to the team's line-up:
Adding a fill-in coach
To add a fill-in coach or assistant coach, select Edit in the team's Coaching Staff area:
Remove any existing coaches as required:
Select Add Fill-in in the Coach area to add a fill-in coach, or select Add Fill-in in the Assistant Coach area to add an assistant coach:
Complete the fill-in coach's First Name, Last Name, and Email:
Finally, obtain consent from the coach that they agree to the relevant term and conditions, then select Add Fill-In:
Congratulations! The fill-in coach has been added to the team's coaching line-up:
