This article describes how to download the electronic scoring application to various devices (PC, Mac, iPad, and Android) so that it can run in its own application window.

Downloading and creating a desktop shortcut allows the PlayHQ electronic scoring application to be run in a standard application window instead of running in a full web browser window. This for example prevents scorers from accidentally closing the web browser during a game, navigating to other websites, or removing the electronic scoring application's URL. It also allows the scoring application to run full screen which provides extra screen space for each team's lineup for example.

Handy Hint: Need to maximise the number of players/coaches able to be viewed without scrolling? Follow the instruction immediately below:

After downloading the application to your device, open the application and set the viewing size (Zoom setting) via the menu item located a the top-right hand  section of the scoring window (Customise and Control PlayHQ Scoring Application):

Note: If accessing Electronic Scoring in a web browser window, use the keyboard to set the degree of Zoom  in the web browser (typically via the keys 'Command/Control' plus either '-'/'+')

If using a tablet device, orientate and lock the tablet to the Portrait view.
