There are times during a season where an association/league administrator will need to edit a grade's fixture and possibly adjust the date/time that a game is to be played. PlayHQ allows you to easily make such changes.
Note: You must have previously generated a fixture to be able to follow the instructions below.
Editing a grade's fixture and/or game date and time
There are various ways to alter the fixture that has been generated for a grade.
Option 1 - Edit an existing game
To edit a grade's fixture:
- select the Competition and Season tile, and then select the 'View Fixture' button for the relevant grade
- Click the '3 dot ellipse' for the game that you wish to adjust, and select 'Edit Game Details'
- You will arrive on the Edit Game Details page. Use the following screen image and table to understand the options available

| Home team | The team listed as the 'Home' team. Use the drop-down of available teams to set the relevant team. | ||
| Swap teams icon | Click to swap the 'Home' team for the 'Away' team. | ||
| Away team | The team listed as the 'Away' team. Use the drop-down of available teams to set the relevant team. | ||
| Round | Specify the Round that this game is to be played. | ||
| Game alias | Enter the text that will be displayed to the public that identifies the game eg: 'Beyond Blue game of the round', 'Grading game 2', etc | ||
| 2 | Allocation | Venue | Set the game venue allocation that the game is to be played at. |
| Playing surface (court/field) | Set the playing surface (court/field) that the game will be played on. | ||
| Date | Set the date that the game will be played. This can differ from the Round date. | ||
| Start time | Set the game start time. | ||
| Unallocate game | Remove the game from any allocation already made. | ||
| 3 | Delete game | Deletes the game (only if the game is in an 'Upcoming' game status). | |
Option 2 - Add a game to the fixture
You can easily add an additional game to the fixture by selecting the Competition and Season tile, and then the 'View Fixture' button for the relevant grade. From either the Regular Season or Finals fixture for the grade, select the 'Add Game' button, and complete the game details. The additional game will appear in the relevant Round of the fixture.
