The following instructions require an administrator to log in to the PlayHQ Admin Portal. If you do not have access, please contact an administrator who can log in and grant your access.
Competition Setup
Adding Competitions
Competition Management > 'Add Competitions' button
Firstly, you'll need to create a competition. A competition is a collection of grades that run for one or more seasons. Use the 'Add Competition' button and complete the required details:

Adding Seasons
Competition Management > select a Competition > Add Season
After creating a competition, you'll need to set up a season prior to setting up grades. Participants will register to a season, and will compete in teams within a given grade. Select the 'Add Season' button and complete the required details:

Adding Grades
Competition Management > select a Competition > select a Season > Add a Grade
Once you've created a season, you can begin to set up Grades so teams can be allocated to their grade:

Managing Teams
Competition Management > select a Competition > select a Season > Team tab
Teams can be created in two ways: Manually within a season by an organisation administrator, or by team organisers who register their team/s using the online team registration process:

Allocating teams to grades
Competition Management > select a Competition > select a Season > Grades
Once teams and grades exist in a season, teams can be allocated to grades by expanding a grade by selecting the '+' icon for the given grade:

Fixture Generation
Generating a grade’s fixture
Competition Management > select a Competition > select a Season > Grades
Once a grade has been created and two or more teams have been allocated, a fixture can be generated:
Managing exceptions dates for a grade
Competition Management > select a Competition > select a Season > select a grade > Settings tab > Fixturing sub-tab
Exception dates are individual days, or a date range, that the fixture generation process will exclude.
How to edit fixtures and game dates?
If associations/competitions need to adjust their seasons and dates for fixtures, then changes will need to be made in PlayHQ admin to reflect that. There are a couple of options depending on circumstances, and they are explained here.

Ladder Management
Competition Management > select a Competition > select a Season > select a grade > Settings tab > Ladder sub-tab
There are two types of ladders that can be used by grades as well as visibility and calculation control.
Game Day Management
There is plenty of functionality to manage your game day tasks, including accessing game scoresheets, entering game outcomes, and recording who participated on game day in each team for each game. Here are some key articles:
