General Rules for scoring a One Day / T20

  • If one or more field (eg. Wickets) is populated for a teams inning , the supporting fields (Overs, Runs and Innings Status) must be filled for BOTH TEAMS to save the team’s score successfully. The save button will be disabled until all required fields have been entered

One Day/ T20 Outcomes

  • PlayHq will automatically calculate the game result once all Mandatory fields are entered , unlike 2Day + an inning closure status is not required. The team with the highest run total will be awarded the Win .

  • The outcomes are automatically determined by the system based on scores however, if the game has resulted in a a DLS outcome or a revised outcome scenario, the ‘Override Result’ functionality can be triggered to select a manual outcome (Link to DLS article)

  • Other edge case outcomes like Disqualified, forfeit, abandoned, cancelled etc can also be triggered by using the ‘Override Result’ functionality on the top right corner in the game details page.
