I want to move from the South Sharks to the West Warriors in the same season (Summer). I will no longer play for the South Sharks in any format this season.
Actions: Depending on the rules of the association, either a player led or club initiated transfer should be submitted.
Option 1 Player Initiated: Go to the new club's relevant registration form and follow the steps to register, it will prompt you to submit transfer. The clubs and associations involved in the transfer will then need to approve the transfer. Once approved, the player will be able to complete the registration and pay the relevant fees.
Option 2 Club Initiated: The player's new club, will submit a transfer request via the Admin Portal. The transfer will then need to be approved by the player's primary club and relevant associations, the player will then receive an email to complete the registration at the new club.
This season I am going to play for two different Cricket Clubs, as I want to play weekend Cricket for the South Sharks and Mid-Week T20 for the North Knights.
Actions: The player should first register as normal with the South Sharks. Then a permit can be requested. Note that depending on the rules of the association, this could be a player initiated or club initiated permit. Ideally, if the North Knights would like the player to pay fees, a player initiated permit is best.
Option 1 Player Initiated: Go to the secondary club's relevant registration form and follow the steps to register and submit permit. The clubs and associations involved in the permit will need to approve the permit. Once approved, the player can complete the registration and pay the relevant fees.
Option 2 Club Initiated: The player's secondary club, will submit a permit request via the Admin Portal. The permit will then need to be approved by the player's primary club and relevant associations. No action is required by the player.
This season I am going to play for South Sharks junior and senior teams. Both of the senior and junior teams play in competitions ran by the North South Cricket Associations.
Actions: The player should first register as normal with the South Sharks junior competition. The player can then register to the senior competition or the club can submit a season permit request for the player to play seniors.
Option 1 Player Registration: Go to the club's relevant register form and follow the steps to register.
Option 2 Club Initiated: The club can submit a permit request via the Admin Portal. The permit will then need to be approved by the both associations. No action is required by the player.

I am going to play winter cricket this year. However, my usual club the West Warriors is not entering a team in the winter competition, so I am going to play for the North Knights.
Actions: It is best to get a season permit rather than transfer between summer and winter clubs. If the player transfers, they will be required to transfer back to the West Warriors for the summer season. Do note that depending on the rules of the association, this could be a player initiated or club initiated permit. Ideally, if the North Knights would like the player to pay fees, a player initiated permit is best.

I play for the South Sharks in the North South Senior Competition. The South Sharks are also going to enter a team in the T20 East West Cricket Association competition played mid-week.
Actions: The player should first register as normal with the South Sharks Senior competition. The player can then register to the T20 competition or the club can submit a season permit request for the player to play seniors.

Option 2 Club Initiated: The club can submit a permit request via the Admin Portal. The permit will then need to be approved by the both associations. No action is required by the player.
I’ve registered to the South Sharks for the season. A friend has asked me to fill in for their club, the West Warriors for this weekend only.
Actions: When entering the team line-up for the game, the West Warriors can add the player via game permit. Note that this can only be completed via the admin portal and not e-score. Game permits do not require approval, so please ensure you are following the rules of your competition. Associations have the ability to turn off game permits.
I haven’t registered for any cricket this season, but a friend has asked me to fill in for their club, the West Warriors for this weekend only.
Actions: This player can be added via the admin portal, my teams or e-scoring as a fill in player. Note that Fill-In players are only allowed to participate in one game as a fill-in.
What is a transfer?
A transfer will change a player’s affiliated club (home club).
A transfer involves the creation of a transfer request that has a series of approval steps that must be passed in order for a player’s affiliated club to update.
A transfer request can be initiated by either the club admin of the new club, or by the participant during their registration.
Once the final approving organisation approves the request, the player’s affiliated club is updated and the request is marked as ‘Approved’.
Once approved, the participant can then complete the registration for their new club, and their original registration for their old club is cancelled (if in the same season).
What is a permit?
A permit allows a player to play for an additional club or competition, whilst still keeping their existing club of affiliation (home club).
Season Permit
A club admin or participant (player) can initiate the request to play for their additional club or competition for a set amount of time, up to the whole season.
This request will need to be approved by all involved parties, once approved, the participant will be registered to play for their additional club or competition.
Game Permit
A club admin can request a permit for a single game to allow a player to play for an additional club or competition. This requires no approvals.
Auto–Approval settings
Each organisation can configure their transfers and permits to auto-approve within their Transfers & Permit settings.
Organisations have the ability to auto-approve certain transfer and permit scenarios whilst still being able to manually approve others.

Notification settings
Organisations can configure who is emailed when a transfer or permit request is awaiting approval from your organisation.

Participant initiated and club initiated
Associations can choose whether or not they allow club initiated, participant initiated or both types of Transfers & Permits in their competitions settings area.
Participant Led Transfers & Permits reduces the workload for club admins who are not needing to create each request.
Participant Led Season Permits will mean that the participant will need to pay any registration fees associated with their additional club or competition.

Approval times
Each organisation has up to 5 days to approve a transfer or permit request, otherwise it would be approved on their behalf, and the request will move on to the next organisation in the approval flow.
