Association administrators have the ability to use the UI regrading feature after using the fixture upload tool (uploading csv file) or using the fixture generator wizard.

There are some differences when using the regrading wizard for Domestic competitions and Home & Away competitions.

Error message with no teams in grade

You will not be able to upload a fixture for a grade that you have regraded down to 0 teams in the admin portal. PlayHQ will present you with an error indicating that the grade has been “retired” if you try and upload a fixture for the grade.

Domestic competitions

If your regrade in the admin portal involves a grade that has previously been fixture uploaded:

PlayHQ will create unallocated slots for the grade that can be found in the Allocations > Game Slots menu. You can allocate these game slots to allocate the games they relate to, in bulk, as per normal.

Home & Away competitions

If your regrade in the admin portal involves a grade that has previously been fixture uploaded:

PlayHQ will ask you to allocate the appropriate number of individual slots needed as part of the regrading process and all games will then be allocated as per the slots allocations, as per normal.

PlayHQ will ask you to do this even if you created an initial fixture in the admin portal and allocated a bulk slot for the grade.

Note that, at this stage, PlayHQ will not allow you to create a bulk slots for a grade in this process, but we may do this as a future enhancement.
