See below how to enter results and team scores for Net Run Rate (NRR) correctly in PlayHQ.
Net Run Rate Formula
(Runs Scored by Team A / Overs conceded by Team A) –
(Runs Scored by Team B /Overs conceded by Team B)
1) NRR when neither team is All Out
The NRR calculation will use the value in the OVERS field for the over faced and overs bowled calculation. Do not ticket the ALL OUT box for either team.
2) NRR when team is All Out and the checkbox is ticked
The NRR calculation will use the value in the OVER LIMIT for the overs faced and overs bowled calculation, so in the case of Eltham the overs faced value will be 40 instead of 38.4 as they we dismissed without facing the full allotment of overs.
3) NRR when one team has over limit adjusted and is All Out
The NRR calculation will use the value in the OVER LIMIT for the overs faced and overs bowled calculation. Doncaster had a reduced number of overs in their innings from 40 to 31 . When the users adjusts the OVER LIMIT field and selects the ALL OUT option.
Doncaster's balls face will be 31 , instead of 27.4 in "Overs" field or 40 the original "Over Limit " value.
